Job description
Tasks
- Work closely with our first line of Support
- Quick and actively resolve the issues either personally or by an effective delegation
- Monitor solutions, data and vessels
- Provide basic bug fixes and ad-hoc tools for the Support Team
- Document and formulate bug reports for the Dev Team
- Plan improvements based on the typical support issues
- Help to develop and implement monitoring tools
- Configure, deploy and support our solutions
- Take good care of the data - calibration, synchronization etc.
- Communicate with the customers about the issues and their resolution
Requirements
- BSc level education in electronics or computer/software engineering
- At least three years of proven top experience with Linux system/network administration
- Proficient in English
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast learning
- Totally "can-do" attitude
- Experience in performing Support tasks
- Responsible and strictly following the procedures
- Able to handle multiple tasks
- Trained in the customer communication
- Able to monitor and assure great customer experience
- Great organizational skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about delivering high quality
- Happy to pick up the phone and talk to a customer or user, in English
- You like working with and being challenged by highly skilled team mates

Technical Requirements
- Python programming
- Strong bash scripting skills
- Extensive experience of Linux (Debian)
- Experience with Ansible, Docker, SQL
- Knowledge about open-source monitoring tools
- Practical skills in GIT
Pluses
- Relevant Certificates are a plus
- Experience with digital signals such as RS422, RS485, MODBUS is a big plus
- Experience with analog signal such as currents, voltages, and pulses is also a big plus
- Anything related to ships
