GL Accountant

Our client is global manufacturing company that is for over 20 years an established employer in Lodz region which is a strategic location in its European footprint. They are World leader in Chocolate production and employ more than 9000 employees around the world. At this moment our client is investing more than 100.000.000 PLN in the expansion of the factory in Lodz, which is located in the Special Economic Zone.
In addition our client has now decided to set up a state of the art shared service center in the city center of Lodz to support its growing European business. Currently we are seeking motivated candidates ready to work in newly set up SSC in Lodz on the position of GL Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- migration of GL process from Western Europe to SSC in Lodz.
- perform period end activities (booking of manual journal entries, processing of payroll, stock controls, depreciation).
- perform reporting activities.
- identify and calculate provisions and exceptions to standard bookings.
- perform intercompany reconciliations.
- respond to questions from entities and other SSC departments.
- provide support and coaching to team members.

- 3-5 years of experience in accounting area (including General Ledger area), financial analysis and controlling.
- Bachelor degree in accounting/finance/or similar.
- very good English language skills.
