As Finance Business Partner Analyst, you create customer value by ensuring the business is making effective and robust business decisions that makes best use of resources and therefore providing the customer with a more cost effective and competitive service.
Work in partnership with different teams (business, finance, procurement, etc) being an “IB DS team extension” supporting decisions through financial analysis.
Principal Accountabilities
• Establish an IB team sharing knowledge across FBP and businesses (Airline, MRO and HDL)
• Perform duties associated with business and financial performance analysis (i.e. assists with budgeting and forecasting, support scenario and contingency planning, generates results of operational performance)
• Join into projects (IB internal and across OpCos and IAG) as team members in Madrid, London or Krakow.
• Evaluate current and historical data
• Prepare reports and some basic commentary
• Identify opportunities across OpCos (BA, Avios, IB and VY) being part of OC communities.

Essential Qualifications (academic/vocational)
• Accounting qualification.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Office IT and Analytical tools proficient.
Expertise (specialist knowledge)
• Ability to devise and follow through on profit improvement programmes
