Full Stack Web Developer

One of the global information technology companies located in Wroclaw is seeking passionate Web Developer to support their team.

Main responsibilities:

• Participating as a member of development team or teams and may lead development teams.
• Performing analysis of functional and business requirements.
• Coding independently; participating in code reviews and leading code reviews. Preparing code stubs for others, completing code to implement solutions.
• Contributing to design activities; may design solutions.
• Designing, preparing and executing Unit tests.
• Applying in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas e.g. Node.js, Anjular.js, React.js, etc.

Exposure to:

• Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Windows Server OS &/or Linux Development Environment
• Native Cloud would be an advantage

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering or Related Field

We require:

• Deep expertise and hands-on experience in designing, building and deploying web applications.
• Proficiency with the following languages/technologies:
- jQuery, CSS3 and HTML5
- AngularJS and/or React.js
- Node.js and/or Java
- Grunt and Bower
• Experience developing RESTful services ideally using Node.js and/or Java.
• Experience with the processes and tools used to achieve Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, Code Coverage and Continuous Integration. You will strive to automate the build, test and deployment processes.
• Desirable to have JavaScript based charting library exposure such as D3.js or NVD3.js.
• Desirable to have exposure to real-time web engines such as socket.io.
• Desirable to have exposure to UI/UX design.
• Knowledge of Redis or other NoSQL databases would be an advantage.
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
