Global Process Owner (GPO) for streams: Record to Report (R2R), Acquire to Retire (A2R) and Internal Controls. This is a key senior manager role within the Global Shared Services Organization (GSSO), leading a team of two and reporting to the GSSO GPO Head. With the merger of ZF and TRW, the ongoing implementation of new IFRSs and the company's strategy of implementing a global instance for SAP financials, this is a demanding role where change is constant.
- Manage R2R and A2R tool implementation projects to deliver process cost savings and improve KPIs;
- Monitor and harmonize internal control compliance within GSSO;
- Process oversight and harmonization in global financial systems;
- Change management as the TRW business is further integrated into ZF;
- Lead process change for the implementation of new IFRSs;
- International travel will be required for 10%-20% of working time;
- Regular requirement to work outside business hours to facilitate communication between inter-continental time zones.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or qualification/certification from a professional accounting institution;
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with general ledger and fixed assets processes;
- Working knowledge of SAP Financials including fixed asset ledger;
- Previous Project Management Leadership experience dealing with significant change management;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Experience with Senior Management communications and interactions, and excellent interpersonal, leadership & management skills;
- Must be a self-starter. Strong analytical skills and excellent organization and planning skills;
- Knowledgeable of International Financial Reporting Standards or US GAAP.
- Experience implementing IFRS15 and/or IFRS16;
- Working knowledge of a Sarbanes Oxley internal control environment;
- Multi-cultural business experience, German language skills;
- Management experience in a Shared Services organization;
- Basic customizing knowledge in SAP Financials.
