This role offers a gradaute the unique opportunity to gain experience in industry leading fraud prevention with our flagship social network and link analysis product NetReveal. This product is rapidly gaining market dominance in the detection and prevention of fraud through building social networks within billions of records. It has also been shown to be applicable in credit risk and marketing, as well as law enforcement, counter-terrorism, and other investigative functions. It provides a step change in prediction by allowing all the traditional modelling techniques to be applied to social networks rather than stand alone individuals or accounts.
The key responsibilities of a Graduate NetReveal Analyst are to:
- Work within a team of analysts using NetReveal to derive intelligence from high volume customer data
- Deploy enterprise solutions within blue chip clients
- Apply and develop leading edge analytical methods, such as data mining and social network analysis
- Adhere to and enhance software development approaches and methodologies
- Deliver high quality work to meet client expectations and project deadlines
- Respond to and resolve technical issues
- Go beyond routine questioning to find the underlying causes of problems or discrepancies to identify problems and develop sound solutions
- Maintain performance when under stress and manage time effectively through the application of organisational and planning skills
Essential skills:
- A strong academic background with a BSc or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or another numerate discipline
- Coding or scripting experience, Java knowledge is a strong advantage
- Fluency in spoken Polish and English; another European language would be a strong advantage
- Excellent written skills in both Polish and English
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- A flair for acquiring new technical skills
- Excellent communication skills and experience of team working
- A flexible approach to solving client problems and a commitment to high quality deliverables
- An enthusiasm for working with clients across Europe, potentially including lengthy placements in other European cities
Desirable skills:
- Experience with databases, data analysis or data querying tools is highly desirable; SQL, SAS or R are especially relevant
- Experience in technical projects involving large amounts of data (e.g. ETL, data mining)
