Maintain the information asset register (Information Governance Catalogue - IGC) and information classification framework.
Import and manage assets in the catalog such as databases, data files, business intelligence reports and models, and logical data model definitions.
Maintain the information assets lifecycle, retention schedule.
Analyze dependencies and relationships of key information assets and business intelligence reports.
Provide assistance to business teams in the information management considerations of business operations and IT projects across the IGC.
Provide assistance to IT teams in defining and executing action plans to implement effective information handling and data management.
Monitor compliance with the agreed regulatory documentation on a regular basis.
Manages and maintains reporting of IGC statistics.
Support continuous improvement of information management processes.
Supports internal and external information audits in scope of CIA (Chief Information Architect Offices) initiatives.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a directly related area.
Good understanding of Data Governance and the Data Lifecycle concepts.
Strong knowledge of Information architecture design (taxonomy, information flows, usage patterns, etc.).
Strong skills in Data Flow and Data design (Conceptual, Logical), modeling.
Experience in Business Process design and modeling.
Understanding of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platforms.
Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Methodology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong sense of personal responsibility and teamwork.
Nice to have:
Experience in IBM InfoSphere™ platform, especially InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog.
Experience in Meta Data Management / Reference & Master Data Management projects.
The Chief Information Architects Office is accountable for Information Architecture matters across the big Scandinavian Bank.
CIA is formalizing the tooling and processing strategy to support the banks requirement for a Data Dictionary.
The primary tools for capturing the banks Data Dictionary will be IGC(IBM Product) and Mega Hopex.
Initially it is proposed that JIRA is used as a workflow and management tool for managing change in the Data Dictionary.
System Analysts are required to implement the initial JIRA customisation and configuration of JIRA
Ongoing support of JIRA Epics and Stories are then required by the System Analysts
