Integration Consultant - Web Development

• Provide development services (including training) to customers working with the standard toolkits for Travel Distributors.
• Provide development expertise to build solutions with the Amadeus product portfolio, integrated with the customer operating environment and business practices.
• Develop local scripts or solutions as specified by the Functional Consultants to answer a specific customer requirement.
• Provide consulting services to review and assess the feasibility of a specific customized development.
• Build and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide sizing on the technical part of the e-Power implementation in order to produce the commercial proposal.
• Participate in the solution functional definition for e-Power implementation projects that require a big expertise.
• Assistance with Functional Workshops organized by Functional Consultant and the customer in order to prepare and agree on the technical aspects of the e-Power solution implementation.
• Help the Functional Consultants to put together the detail specification of the solution.
• Load template-based graphics schemes ("look and feel") provided by the client.
• Implement and modify customer specific setting configuration in AdminTools (e-Power administration panel), integrate and test the solution.
• Perform client specific integrations (i.e. with Payment Service Providers),
• Hand over the solution to the Technical Support.
• Liaise with internal virtual teams (across various geographical locations) to complete tasks.

Education

• University degree (3 to 4 years) or equivalent qualification (Engineer diploma welcome) in data processing or development

Experience

• Several years of expertise in development of software solutions based on web technologies and web frameworks.
• Development around the Amadeus platform/systems (nice to have);
• Market or customer experience appreciated

Technical Skills

• In depth knowledge of online technologies: HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS2/CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX and WebServices.
• Basic knowledge of image manipulation software (i.e. Photoshop, GIMP) and ability to convert UI mockups (provided i.e. in PSD format) to HTML page.
• Proficient in web development environments and web frameworks: Microsoft ASP.NET, jQuery and jQuery UI.
• Knowledge of web UI theming, responsive design and cross browser web UI customization.
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and CMS integration (additional asset).
• Basic knowledge of SEO techniques and semantic HTML.

Functional Skills

• Some Travel Industry Business awareness (nice to have).
• Knowledge in terms of options, modules and needed settings in order to configure the Internet Booking Engine (nice to have).
• Good knowledge of Amadeus front, mid- and back office products and solutions (additional asset).
• High exposure to the GDS functionalities (additional asset).

An Integration Consultant develops and integrates custom solutions around online and off-line products and the toolkits available with the Point of Sale platform.
