J2ME Software Engineer
Location: Szczecin
As a software engineer you will be given the opportunity to work and experience all areas of software development life cycle in innovative and challenging projects for our international customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Active involvement in design and development processes of BLStream's products and technologies
- Participation in specification and planning of new product modules and features
- Following high quality programming standards
- Keeping track of industry developments/standards and taking the initiative to incorporate these into the company technologies
Experience & Qualifications
- Good Java knowledge required; Objective-C, C# or C++ is a plus
- Hands on experience in application development for J2ME platform
- A relevant degree from a recognized university or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience
- Proficient in OOA, OOD and design patterns
- Good English, both written and spoken
Not required but advantageous skills
- Hands on experience in development for any other Mobile OS platform or technology - Series40, J2ME, iOS, Symbian, WebOS, MeeGo, Maemo, Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS or related technologies (e.g. Qt)
- Scrum (or other Agile) development method experience
