On behalf of our Client from transportation and logistics sector we are now recruiting Candidates for a position of Junior shipping documentation specialist (Clearance Broker).
At this position you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a good knowledge of relevant Customs and trade regulations, practices and procedures and their application in the Company’s and Customer business environment. Your tasks will include reviewing data for each shipment to identify exact Customer and regulatory requirements, together with the accuracy and completeness of documentation supplied, following through to obtain clarification when needed (Customer, government agencies etc).
You will be responsible for making decisions regarding the most appropriate type of entry based on interpretation of data and regulatory requirements, escalating potential breach of regulations including all relevant support information and providing advice to the Customer on alternative clearance services.
Ideal Candidate will have fluency in English , good computer literacy and numerical skills. Person on this position should be willing to develop within the multinational organization.
