You're a gifted UI Designer and have the skills to become a top UI Designer. You understand UI / UX principles and "get it." Your portfolio shows it.
You've already designed cool, stylish websites in WordPress and "get it." You don't need to be trained on WordPress. You've already spent the time to learn it.
This is not a training job. This job opportunity is for UI designers who "get it" and want to become the Best.

We're hiring a university student or recent graduate. You're just starting your career, and this is an excellent job opportunity for you to learn and grow.
You might have been a freelancer, and now you're ready to settle down with a stable start-up with a global customer base. Although you can complete your own projects, you're a team player and enjoy working with A-Players from all over the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design the UI / UX for Web Applications
- Slice PSD > HTML
- Translate designs with a good understanding of usability and appreciation for good user experience
- Experience building responsive and mobile experiences
- Develop new web sites and communities using responsive design (site looks good across multiple platforms and devices)
- Utilize HTML5/CSS3/jQuery to make modern user interfaces
Requirements
MUST LOVE:
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, table-less layouts, and and eye toward good design principles.
- Beautiful design
- Awesome UI / UX
- WordPress
- Learn new technologies
- Convert design comps to "pixel-perfect" layouts
- Write lean, semantic HTML5 and CSS3
- Cross-browser debugging skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and hit deadlines
- Have passion about improving your code and our products
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Management Systems
- Proficient with Photoshop and/or InDesign, ability to translate layered comps into code
- Hand coding HTML/CSS/jQuery web pages
- WordPress
- Ability to work within a team and demonstrate strong work ethic
- Highly articulate with clear speaking and writing skills
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to QA your own work quickly
- Will learn Drupal
- Will learn source control (e.g. Git)
- Will learn working in a UNIX environment
