Key Account Manager

JOB PURPOSE
- The KAM will represent the Company and will be the face of JMBS to its customers. In that regard, the position plays a crucial role in interactions with customers and thereby makes a major contribution to the development of trust which will allow JMBS to maintain existing business and win new ones.
- Make a significant contribution to the further growth of the business, both revenue and profitability, through proactively managing the relationship with existing and new customers for Gliwice.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes in order to support the general planning for the business.
- Furthermore, the KAM will provide support to the production and operations teams to proactively
- resolve any issues that could impact on an external customer.
Key responsibilities:
Support Business Management.
- Complete overview and responsibility for dedicated customers
- Apply professional sales management disciplines to ensure achievement of agreed price and profitability targets in conjunction with a defined RFQ process.
- Manage product and development costs through the projects with the support of the Program
- Manager and Finance Department.
- Ensure that all relevant internal and external procedures have been followed, to ensure customer satisfaction and satisfy internal targets on profitability
- Provide direction and input to the customer service department with respect to dedicated customers
Support Quality Management System.
- Ensure an adequate and efficient communication and status reporting structure is in place within the projects/programmes.
- Maintain adequate records and complete all necessary regular reporting as required by the project/program procedures.
- Understand the current quality standards and methodologies and support the development of new and revised procedures, policies and documents to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Track costs, external support, and external attendance, determining corrective actions and applying same.
Customer, Purchasing and Operational Support.
- Represent the Company to its customers

Are you the ideal candidate?
- Experience, at least 5-7 years, role in sales as key account manager, who is capable managing complex multinational customers.
- Financial understanding, including product and project budgets
- Knowledge & understanding of appropriate safety regulations including UN/ECE standards.
- Availability to travel international mainly Europe, however from time tot time globally
- Work together in intercultural teams
- Team player, will get support from customer service team based in Gliwice Poland
- High self-confidence, ability to convince internal and external stake holders e.g. customers
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in cordless portfolio: power tool, garden tool, e mobility is a huge advantage
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of
- the organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Educational qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- University degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- German will be a plus
- Business qualification (MBA) an advantage
