For our Client, international organization leading company in automotive industry with 6 premises in Poland in Lubuskie Province, Lower Silesia and Silesia region, we are currently looking for:
Master Black Belt/ Senior Lean Expert in Metal Plant ( Automotive)

The person can be located in any of Johnson Controls plants in Eastern Europe (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary or Romania) preferably a metal plant.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to assigned Lean Black Belts, Green Belts or other
- Verifies that DMAIC, Kepner Tregoe and Lean methodologies and tools are being properly applied to projects
- Consults on projects with regard to project direction, financial and quality improvement opportunities and suitability as a Six Sigma project, later reviews project status and provides advice on the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology
- Drives improvement to our Best Business Practice metrics, coaches Black Belts and leadership in how to convert gaps in performance into process improvement projects with breakthrough results
- Conducts training and education for Black Belts, Green Belts and Champions
- Assists Champions in the identification of project opportunities and Black Belt candidates, certifies Black Belts
- Shares “best practices” throughout the Company and monitors projects for opportunities for cross-collaboration
- Stays current with Company Continuous Improvement and assures assigned Black Belts are kept informed of new developments/approaches in Six Sigma methodology
- Models the Six Sigma process in individual and group interactions and challenges current thinking and resistance
- Looks for opportunities to recognize and publicize the accomplishments of assigned Black Belts
- May lead projects independently or with the help of a Black Belt(s)
- Work with Plant teams to develop detailed Roadmaps to ensure full achievement of current year task
Requirements:
- experience with lean production systems, continuous improvement tools in Automotive industry
- ideally experience in a plant manager/director position
- master black belt certification is not required, most important is Lean knowledge and experience
- flexibility (there is an 70% travelling to other plants in region)
- fluent English
- University Degree
- Experience in Plant transformation through the use of Lean principles
- Experience in Lean Production Systems
- Expert in Continuous Improvement tools (VSM, Kanban, Kaizen, 5S, Error Proofing,Problem Solving, Visual Management, TPM, Quick Changeover)
- Great communication and engagement skills, able to lead and moderate cross functional workshops
- Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing, Logistic, Quality functions and processes
- Business financial management
- Computer skills and SAP Basic Knowledge
- Project management skills (able to manage a cross functional team of different levels within the organization)
- Analytical and results driven, 6 sigma knowledge a plus
- Flexible, able to support other regions or plants outside of their direct responsibility at short notice
- Able to coordinate activities, needs and expectations across the region within CI/Plant Managers
