Currently the center is seeking candidates for the position:
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the Financial Shared Service Center according to the requirements of the Group Accounting Manual and Local Legal requirements for specific area of responsibility (Accounts receivable)
- Set up and supervise the SSC O2C team
- Coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed
- Issue resolution for service area
- Day to day operations in the accounts receivable area:
- Handle incoming payments
- Handle bad debts
- Handle long-term receivables
- Review customer accounts
- Perform intercompany-reconciliation
- Enrich customer master data
- Adherence to service levels
- Adherence to law and policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in transitioning accounting activities into a SSC (creation of desktop procedures, work shadowing, etc.) beneficial
- First leadership experience beneficial
- Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
- Profound knowledge in the use of SAP through proven work experience
- Experience in use of Workflow
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting, other European language would be an asset
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Team player, highly motivated, flexible
- Ability to work with other cultures
- Ability/willingness to travel
