We are creating a new Regional Finance Hub team in Poznan who will be part of a global network of regional Finance hubs responsible for Planning & Reporting and Close & Control activities as well as more complex accounting activities such as Production Accounting.
The teams in the regional Finance hubs will work together to share best practice and knowledge working closely with our HQ Finance teams in London.
We are planning to employ about 80 highly-skilled professionals.
- You will provide leadership to a group of accountants responsible for the Production Accounting
- Your will manage the team of 4-6 direct reports including coaching, encouraging, motivating and development support
- You will be responsible for performance of everyday operations and periodic end activities in line with accounting standards and agreed deadlines for a given set of sites
- Your responsibilities will include supervising of full audit compliance with external accounting and internal finance policies as well as Internal Controls Framework for the cluster of sites
- You will also have opportunity to identify areas to improve and introduce improvements and standardisation projects
- Moreover, you will be the point of contact for the Site Finance Partners and Auditors
- Your scope of duties includes also building strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders
- You will have possibility to work in collaboration with different projects and support additional processes
- Basic qualifications:
- Accounting degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
- Experience of working in a corporate environment
- Experience of working with SOX
- People management experience and coaching leadership skills
- Fluent English (minimumC1)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Outside of the box thinking
- Willingness and availability to take part in migration processes
- Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience of SAP preferred
- Working knowledge of Lean management tools & techniques
