Our client is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of components for the automotive industry. Currently we are looking for an experienced and talented person for Quality Engineer position, responsible for supervision of production process in one of the company plant located about 140 km in southwest of the Rome.
Quality Engineer will be responsible for coordination of activities related to contact with the customers, solving the quality problems accounted the customers requirements (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa). In addition the person will be responsible for implementation and updating Series Control Plan and its related documents, controlling of measurements and test equipment done in Plant for its Customers, establishing information flow with customers regarding quality to guarantee customer satisfaction, this will involve the supervision of the fulfillment of customer requirements in the organization, identifying customer requirements and communicating them to interested people in your organization, maintaining exemplary customer relationships, and reporting customer satisfaction within the framework of projects carried out for various customers. Moreover to the scope of tasks will include management of customer complaints (8D reports + tracking), initiation and monitoring of post complained activities, supervising the introduction of immediate action, corrective and preventive actions in the plant at the client, preparing analyzes and reports quality. Furthermore the quality engineer will be responsible for negotiating with clients on contentious issues, applying for approval to deviate from the specifications of the customer, as well as for overseeing the engineering change from the side of quality
The ideal candidate should have higher education (technical education will be an asset), min. 2 years professional experience in automotive industry, driving license; SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, G8D, PDCA, 5xWhy, Ishikawa, B2B, knowledge of languages: good level of English and Italian; moreover should have very good communication skills (good team worker), to be accountable, initiative and self-motivated person with leadership skills and to have ability to relocate, positive attitude and high energy.
