For our Client, international aerospace company based in Krakow, we are looking for Candidates experienced in accounting for the position of Regional Finance Process – Analyst.
As Regional Finance Process – Analyst you will be responsible for managing day to day processes within area of responsibility including: indirect tax (preparation, review and submission of VAT, withholding tax and/or other indirect tax returns), payroll (preparation, review, reporting, payment initiation) and financial reporting (local books preparation including liaison with local advisors, raising and filling specific invoices as per local requirements). Moreover, your duties will include resolving day to day queries and operational issues from the supported OpCo regional finance organisation and other regional/in-country partners & stakeholders. Furthermore, searching for process standardisation and improvement opportunities in the covered area and / or across wider RFP teams will be your tasks. You will need to contribute to further alignment with GBS Finance Global Process framework, create and govern standard operating procedures as needed and undertake user training for processes and systems as required. In addition, some international travel may be required.
To be successful on the role you need to graduate in Finance and Accounting or related field and/or have the ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of working in a Finance and Accounting environment. The ideal Candidate has also good understanding of standard accounting processes (including internal control, indirect tax compliance, reporting, payroll, balance sheet control, accounts receivable and accounts payable), ability to operate effectively in a fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines and finite resources, a strong customer focus, committed to exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement, excellent analytical skills, experience of using Excel to manipulate large volumes of data is desirable, highly computer literate with the ability to develop knowledge where required and work around new & legacy systems. Knowledge of global business compliance and regulatory context is essential for the role. You need to have also stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence stakeholders. Moreover, the Client appreciate also strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and exceptional problem solving skills. Fluency in English is required. Fluency in any European language would be an asset.
