Your role
Are you a Data Analyst that wants to use data to actually make a difference? We are looking for someone to:
- develop analytics using data from systems that we build and design.
- build robots to automate processes.
- improve the efficiency of our systems and teams through the use of data.
- collaborate with investigators, other data analysts and product managers to identify new risks through data.
Your team
You will be working in the Intelligence Capability's Data and Technology Strategy Team. We work with the bank's surveillance and technology teams to design and manage the delivery of new compliance monitoring tools and systems. You will work with our financial crime teams to derive insight from our monitoring systems, develop dashboards, build predictive models, and write robots.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- proven data analysis skills using tools such as Tableau, Lavastorm, SQL or Python (2+ years).
- excellent academics, preferably sciences related.
- experience in dashboard design, robots, or predictive analytics.
- knowledge of software engineering approaches and technologies such as testing, code versioning and task management (e.g. github, JIRA and Confluence).
- an understanding of compliance and financial crime monitoring technologies.
- experience working in a complex matrix environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English

Your experience and skills
You have:
- master's degree in a quantitative discipline or Economics/Finance
- good numerical and statistical skills
- strong programming skills in the statistical software R
- knowledge of database design and Oracle SQL, knowledge of LaTeX document creation would be an asset
- competency in working with large data sets, statistical analysis, regression models
- basic knowledge of financial markets
You are:
- very diligent, detail-oriented and accurate way of working
- highly self-motivated, pro-active and ability to work collaboratively
- fluent in English
