- Challenging and exciting position as Solution Engineer in a team providing solutions for the globally leveraged Intranet platform;
- Improving the attractiveness of these websites by incorporating the latest trends and technologies especially from tablets and smartphones;
- Design, development, debugging and maintenance of software components using the JAVA based Adobe AEM technologies;
- Understanding and converting user requirements into high quality functional solutions for Intranet and/or Internet;
- Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation;
- Integrate web sites with Adobe analytics and analyze/report on analytics data.
Strong understanding of Advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript plus associated frameworks such as jQuery, ExtJS;
Fluent English ( Polish nice to have );
Good understanding of Java and J2EE applications - proven experience in writing code;
Experience in design methodologies (UML, Component Design Tools, etc.);
Mastery of all core web technologies including XML, HTML, CSS, Java Script;
Experience with core frameworks such as Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit (JCR) and Apache Felix (OSGI);
Knowledge on Open Source tools used in development process (like Teamcity, Maven or Gradle, Subversion, Git, STAF's);
Understanding of all CMS building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc.;
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.);
Demonstrable ability to learn and adapt;
Strong team player who is able to work in a globally distributed team;
Strong desire to learn new technologies;
Experience with agile methodologies.
Nice to have experience in Adobe AEM
The current internet setup benefits from the great esthetic improvement brought upon by the revamped project of 2015; however, the infrastructure and platform fails to meet our requirements for stability and scalability. The focus in 2016 is to resolve this pain point -migrate the whole platform in an external Cloud Set Up and improve the platform for the medium to long term as well as add in state of the art marketing and engagement tools that will enable us to precision target visitors and drive convergence.
