- Application/environment health check monitoring
- Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues
- Data consistency check
- Plan PROD release activities and coordinate implementation with infrastructure teams according to the schedule.
- Maintain environments configurations (hardware, software). Plan, request and track infrastructure changes based on team needs and according to Customer requests.
- Contribution to incidents knowledge base
Skills required
- Experience with SQL and database, PL/SQL (Oracle)
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience with Linux/Unix basic commands/processes
- Candidate should have proactive behaviour and strong problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn
- Teamwork and communication / information sharing.
- Basic Java
As a plus:
- Business Domain (ETF Market, Investment Banking)
- Experience with bash/shell scripting
- Perl (understanding scripts and debugging)

The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and production implementation of the bank market making applications. The project includes development of the system, enhancements and ongoing support during US working hours.
The candidate should be able to take requirements, produce high/low level designs, implement and deliver the changes to the business following the development process set out by the project.
The role requires close co-operation with many other IT teams including occasional US business trips.
The role includes day-to-day production support responsibilities including on-call support duties 2-4 times per month.
Candidate should be ready and open for US business trips. Permanent relocation would be also an option.
