The Ventures and Acquisitions (V&A) SWAT Team has been created to provide a focused team of skilled Accenture resources to newly acquired V&A organisations, with the responsibility of initiating and deploying critical IT & Security controls in addition to working with local contacts to capture relevant inventory data that can help to accelerate the overall post-merger integration execution timelines. The V&A SWAT Team will often be the primary initial face to face interaction that a newly acquired company has with Accenture, and so this team is critical to providing a positive and lasting impression as ambassadors of Accenture within environments that may sometimes be challenging.
The selected individual responsible for leading the execution of technical data gathering and implementation activities. It will be required to work with both local acquisition contacts and global Accenture teams to coordinate and drive required activities in a short timeframe. This role may require extensive travel throughout the region, dependent on location of the acquired organisation, and coordination across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Act as single point of contact for Accenture technical and security teams to address technical queries with local acquisition contacts, interfacing with multiple client and 3rd parties where required
- Deploy, configure and maintain a variety of data & infrastructure technologies, demonstrating the ability to be organized and to multitask. Examples include:
- Configuration of OpenDNS on legacy infrastructure
- Execution of discovery scanning on legacy environments using tools such as NMAP and Nessus
- Deployment and configuration of Accenture Qualys Guard on legacy infrastructure for vulnerability scanning
- Execution and maintenance of PowerShell scripts
- Ownership and ongoing development and maintenance of the SWAT Playbook technical activities
- Working with local SME's to obtain and document discovery information & inventories across hosting, network, application and workplace areas
- Interfacing with clients, vendors, and technical teams to develop appropriate technical solutions to business problems and risk remediation requirements
- Identification and proposal of improvements to processes and technologies
- Report and/or escalate issues to management
- Status reporting to senior leadership
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Stakeholder Management & Coordination
- Good English Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to travel and work at multiple locations (including Accenture, Client`s side, remotely / home office)
- Experience of deploying or administering network, desktop and server/cloud infrastructure, particularly within Enterprise environments
Technical Experience:
- Hands on experience with Network Routing and Switching Products required [DNS, Cisco, Juniper]
- Hands on experience with Network Security Products preferred [Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Qualys]
- Hands on experience with Server & Desktop technologies
Nice to have:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos)
- MCSA in Server & Desktop Infrastructure
