Transition Integration Manager
Work location: Poland, Cracow, Armii Krajowej 18
This is a high-level project management role responsible for the transformation and transition of responsibility and process/service activities from the customer to IBM resources during the initial stages of a contract. The role is also a focal point to support the Transition resourcing process and Transition competency development.
Transition management:
- Leading a team of project managers across multiple locations
- Face to face meetings with senior client management
- Extensive travel, 50%-75%
- Project co-ordination & progress reporting
- Can do approach and ability to deep dive on work streams such as Finance, IT, HR, Infrastructure, Training
- Create transition solutions and present/sell to clients
- Design transition project plan, schedule & proposal text during engagement proposal phase
- Assist in staffing the Transition project team
- Develop and manages project plans and schedules for transition in coordination with the Delivery centres, and across all Transition workstreams (People transfer, IT, Service/process transition,
- Workplace & infrastructure services, Account management setup)
- Coordinate cross-tower activities (BCS, SO)
- Collect and documents observations and lessons learned from completed transitions
- Help improve and implement transition methodology through development and re-use of IC
Skills Description/Requirements:
- Strong Project / Program Management background - at least two years experience of running F&A outsourcing transitions
- Strong commercial capability
- Fluent English - 2nd European Languages desirable but not essential
- Finance and Accounting process knowledge - 4-10 years experience working in this area
- IT applications implementation experience - highly valued in every candidate
- Willingness to travel to our clients throughout Europe and to our global delivery centres on a regular basis
- Strong mature character able to work with senior client and IBM management to resolve difficult project issues
- People management experience - at least 4 years managing teams of other project managers
