Business Analyst

Responsibilites
- Communicating to business users to collect and clarify business requirements for new functionality.
- Create user stories and pre-plan user stories with the team.
- Help the product owner to plan the sprint scope.
- Support the system in production - help investigate business requests and create stories based on input from business users.
- Consults Development on requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in business and functional analysis (preferable in finance domain)
- Proven experience in collecting and developing initial high level requirements by directly communicating to business users
- System Analyses
- Technical skills: Good working knowledge of SQL (writing scripts, complex query)
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
- Very good communication skills in English (read, spoken and written)
- Strong team player with good interpersonal/communication skills
- Flexible - keen to learn new technologies and to extend business domain knowledge
- Good problem-solving skills
- Analytic and detail-oriented
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of basics for Java, Oracle
- Experience of working with an Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Use-case driven requirements development
- Working knowledge of Jira and other web-based documentation/knowledge management platforms a plus
- Experience in working with remote client and vendor resources
