Business Line Controller / Project Financial Controller

For our Client, an international Consulting company leading in their sector, currently we are looking for a candidate for Business Line Controller / Project Financial Controller role.
Candidate will be in close relation with Business Line Director and reports to Financial Director and project management. Is responsible for budgeting process of the Business Line and Projects, providing management information for line management and business management. Follow-up and analyze budget vs actuals. Contribute to realization strategic goals of business unit entity.
Also is responsible for timely and correct data maintenance, making project reviews and delivers project information to project management. Candidate will work with business executing both short- and long-term projects.

Opis stanowiska / Job description:
- Supporting Business Line Director in financial aspect of the unit, decisions and understanding of the business
- Preparation and interpretation of financial reports, defining causes of deviations and advising on possible steering,
- Preparation of estimate vs. actual comparisons,
- Checking project data and checking and ensure revenue recognition (POC%, cost, revenues etc.),
- Be present and active in kick off meeting of projects,
- Take part in project review and draft minutes,
- Monitoring of secured amounts on customers as vendors,
- Support Business Controller in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting (preparing all kind of analysis and reports,
Besides this, responsible for:
- Support project manager in risk management and risk mitigation
- Proactive challenge project manager and line manager
- Advise project management and line management in start phase (Go-No-Go / proposal ) and in execution phase
- Realizing efficiency and improvement in project administration
- Steering and performing monthly and annual activities in order to report on time
- Checking status Bank guarantees and Insurances required by the contract with customer
- Checking claims in close cooperation with legal and project management

Kogo szukamy / Profile description:
- Bachelor degree preferably in finance, economics, etc.
- More than 3 years of experience on financial controller/business controller position, knowledge of real estate, consulting, construction sectors and experience in BIG4 audit real estate etc departments will be a great asset, Practical knowledge of construction contracts / long term contracts accounting is required
- IFRS and PL GAAP knowledge are required,
- Knowledge of project management (working with project methods) will be a plus,
- Skills not only to develop controls but also to actually implement them and recommendations,
- Excellent experience of MS Excel is a must,
- Very good knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a must,
- Fluency in English - written and verbal,
- Good communicative and social capabilities able to build good relations,
- Able to communicate around all above project control aspects with the different stakeholders,
- Ambitious, independent, open for new challenge and aware about deadline work conditions,
