DMD - MRP Owner (Planning Process Specialist)

This position is designed to ensure all the settings for all materials across the entire network are correct in the ERP System (SAP), and according to the company policies.
The main objective of the DMD/MRP Owner is to maintain the settings which drive the main transactions and operations across the Supply Chain, from procurement and replenishment through orders entering, scheduling and shipping. The position needs to check the business is systems and data driven, and that everyone in their respective functions follows the signals generated by the ERP system.

Main Responsibilities:
• Overall owner of the MRP settings. Manage and ensure all MRP settings (Lead Times, Lot Sizes, Procurement Groups, Inventory Strategy) are correct for all materials at all locations across EMEA.
• Manage the Dynamic Master Data (DMD) program used for Inventory Management. Review and discuss on a monthly basis the proposed settings as for Safety Stock levels and Inventory Strategy, with the respective users, primarily plant schedulers and plant buyers. Perform root cause analysis if low acceptance.
• Maintain pro-actively close contact with the end users, to challenge and update inconsistent or unreasonable settings.
• Management of MRP work flows in SAP for material extensions or new products introduction.
• Lead the implementation of the Infor Advance Scheduling software at the manufacturing locations.
• Generate monthly reports and be back-up for other team members as needed.

Skills & abilities
• BSC-level in Logistics or Supply Chain
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply chain or Planning.
• SAP experience (SD/PP/MM)
• Good understanding of MRP settings.
• Very good verbal and writing skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong team player and capability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong skills in independent priority setting.
• MS Office such as Excel, Access is a plus.
• INFOR and DMD is a plus.
