EMEA Regional Payroll Manager

Zadania:
- lead the EMEA payroll operations team,
- assess resource requirements to deliver on responsibilities and ensures that staffing is at an appropriate level for the countries assigned,
- monitors team performance and contributes to the professional development of the tem members,
- work directly with third party payroll vendors and experts to willingly obtain working knowledge of local country payroll laws for EMEA region,
- ensure that all regional payroll activities are performed according to company policies and procedures, and that all documentation remains current to support robust knowledge management over time,
- ensure compliance with key controls, monitor audit findings for EMEA region and implement corrective actions as necessary,
- ensure payroll systems and processes comply with all local and government regulations. Monitor changes in local legal requirements.
- hold vendor accountable to ensure their procedures remain compliant,
- acts as second escalation level and resolves, as quickly as possible, difficult or complex payroll issues escalated from first level of escalation,.
- ensures excellent communication with higher management,
- participates in internal and cross-functional projects; collaborates well with cross-functional teams in developing solutions that are in the best interest of employee/team/department andcompany.
Wymagania:
- bachelor's degree in Human Resources,Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent,
- 5+ years payroll experience (or equivalent) reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; 2+ years of management experience with regional teams,
- demonstrated experience in establishing a regional process framework and an understanding of the technical, business, and people-related dynamics that need to be considered in delivering regional payroll services,
- experience managing a regional team in a shared service environment is required along with strong customer service skills,
- strong influence, interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to drive organizational change,
- strong people management experience and demonstrated ability to forge strong and trusting relationships across business group, function and geographic boundaries,
- ability to multi-task, including juggling and prioritizing numerous projects at the same time, often under strict time contstraints,
- fluency in English is a must (both both verbal and written),
- readiness to work in Katowice.
