Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.
- Propose accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries
- Perform a detailed review of both B/S and P/L accounts for errors, omissions or inconsistencies
- Manage the relationship with the business counterpart
- Preparing and reviewing month end journals ( e.g. TB uploads, bank movements, tax payments etc.)
- Support month end close analytics (e.g. Balance Sheet/ P&L flux analysis)
- Support ad-hoc projects as assigned
- Ensuring effective communication with the client and business counterpart to address all issues and lead resolution actions
- Taking full responsibility for timely preparation of all deliverables related to allocated activities / entities
- Direct contact with the client on a regular basis in relation to standard tasks and any other requested financial information
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Preparation of financial statements for a wide range of entities
- Preparation of reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Fluent English
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting department
- Master degree in accountancy or shared service experience is a plus
- Highly developed analytical skills and ability to work within a problem solving environment
- Very strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Communicative and open-minded attitude
- MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle)
- Attention to detail with focus on the end to end process
- Ability to follow written procedures very precisely
- Fast learner, ability to design/re-design processes, constant process improvement focus
- Flexibility, especially during the reporting periods
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
