Your new company
Our Client is the world's leading video and e-commerce retailer, is excited to open a new global business services centre in Kraków. The Global Business Services centre is an exciting new site that will offer world-class finance, HR, IT and Legal services to the team members in Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States. This centre is an exceptional facility, with an efficient and remarkable design and culture.
Your new role
As the key advisor to GBS leadership on HR related complexities; you will be responsible for providing HR counsel to GBS leadership, as well as leveraging the tools, processes, and procedures from our COEs teams to ensure an optimised employee experience. Your responsibilities will include playing a key role in GBS center HR strategy formulation and prioritisation of all related initiatives and decisions regarding people and associated technology.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have a clear understanding of HR related regulations, especially specific to Kraków and the understanding of change management and human resource issues. You need to have working knowledge of HR metrics and best practices and ability to utilize these in driving performance improvements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills are a must as well as analytical and problem solving skills with good interpersonal skills & employee management skills. Ability to plan, assign and direct work and fluent English (C1) are crucial.
Key qualifications are:
- Degree with a major in HR or business – CIPD or equivalent a plus
- 10+ years’ experience in the HR function
- Extensive experience in HR advice and counsel to senior business management
- Experience in HR strategy execution
- Management experience in large multi-national organization
- Change management experience preferred
- Experience working in a shared service or operations environment preferred
