Supervise the Country Controllership processes and team in a centralised, multilingual service centre environment

Consult with the manager in development and attainment of objectives

Motivate and guide team members is their daily duties and achievement of set targets

Supervise and participate in the GL processes including:

Account reconciliations and analysis
-
Fixed Assets accounting
-
Intercompany accounting
-
Management and USGAAP accounting and reporting
-
Month-, quarter and year end processes including analytical reviews of results
-
Assist in internal and external audits
-
Perform Internal Controls
-
Liaise with relevant customers regarding their general ledger accounts in a professional and timely manner

Communicate and display understanding of principles and policies regarding GL processing
-
Lead and participate on ad hoc teams for the improvement of processes and resolution of issues
-
Provide guidance in the identification of issues and development of solutions related to quality customer service
-
Develop an in-depth knowledge of local tools and applications in support of GL processing.

Participate in process improvement projects
-
Maintain service level with customer base – Measure progress against SLA and consistently satisfy customer in a ‘metrics focused’ organisation

Bachelor / Master Degree in Accounting or Finance. Note that relevant experience can supplement degree requirements

3-5 years of progressive accounting experience with 2 year minimum of supervisory experience
