Currently the center is seeking candidates for the position:
- Perform general ledger account review, reconciliation and analysis. Initiate all transactions required to correct any misstatement of the general ledger
- Maintain efficient internal financial controls and business processes
- Preparation and posting of various journal entries
- Prepare designated reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements through the maintenance of organized accounts and records in accordance with EY procedures
- Analyze and report on balance sheet items
- Identify/resolve outstanding items in the reconciliation through appropriate escalation with colleagues and supervisors
- Closing monthly accounting periods to ensure that all information is entered into the company’s accounting ledger accurately and make corrections as needed
- Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- The role holder is required to understand and administer the expectations from internal and external accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Identify opportunities for automation and process standardization
- Provide professional and thorough training sessions to new joiners including theoretical and practical trainings
- Support Supervisor in work quality control and work distribution
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience in SSC/ BPO preferably in GL department
- Fluent German and good English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Be accountable and take ownership for the tasks entrusted to the role holder
- Strong research, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks
- Good working knowledge of computers and financial tools and software packages
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
