Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. - Coordinate and perform GL activities for applicable client entities in line with the contract
- Functional responsibility encompassing intercompany, fixed assets, general ledger and statutory accounts.
- Provision of management reports and analytical support to Accenture and Client Finance Managers
- Monitor team's adherence to client policies and procedures pertaining to General Ledger
- Serves as the primary Client and Accenture contact for GL process
- Executing knowledge transfer plan
- Oversee balance sheet accounts reconciliation and intercompany reconciliation process
- Prepare root cause analysis and mitigation plan for process defects
- Strong collaborative skills allowing to effectively manage the relationship with the key stakeholders, both internal and external
- Good planning and execution skills
- Build rewarding environment stimulating potential and motivation
- Actively identify, propose and coordinate execution of process improvements
- Support the RTR Accounting Specialists in the review of career development activities. Responsible for driving staff satisfaction and morale, ensuring regular and open staff communications
- Flexibility required to interact with and manage a broad range of customers (mainly based in US) and competing priorities
- Passion and willingness to learn and deliver through Operational Excellence
- Operations delivery experience in finance with at least 2 years delivery experience in a leadership role.
- Overall accounting experience 5 yrs+
- Qualified accountant (desired) with at least 3 years PQE
- Working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
- Very Good knowledge of ERP (Oracle preferred) and MS Excel
- Willingness to travel
- High standard of professional conduct
- Excellent business writing skills in English, proficient in report writing, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
