Position purpose
We are currently looking for IMOC operators responsible for monitoring and supervision the IT system peripherals and operations for one of the leading ICT providers on the German market.
Main accountabilities
- Monitor and supervise the IT system peripherals and operations of our client\'s IT layoutÂ
- Follow a standardized process consisting of explicit and precise procedures, coached by a Technical Operator
- Carry out tasks by strictly following the documents containing the procedures and operationsÂ
- Respond to the system alarms by providing first level assistanceÂ
- Follow a set of tasks including system verification, day to day maintenance of the IT system peripheralsÂ
- Take first level actions on the peripheralsÂ
- Take prompt actions to treat the system alarms by following the standard procedures; Report all new incidents to the upper technical levelÂ
- Resolve recurrent incidents according to the documented written proceduresÂ
- Execute the procedures to secure and protect the IT peripheralsÂ
- Accomplish a requested set of tasks following the planning and the day-to-day operationsÂ
- Complete and update the operations reportÂ
- Update all procedures documents. These activities may be completed along others arising from clients punctual needs and the work schedule
- Working Pattern: Shift worker covering 24*7*365
Requirements
- Technical skills
- Knowledge of operation systems (Windows + basic DOS commands; Unix/Linux would be advantage)
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
- Office 2007
- Knowledge of RDP and its practical use
- IT students preferredÂ
- Language requirements: very good English & German
