An opportunity has now arisen for the above vacancy within East Starch (A Corn Division of ADM) at Supply Chain Department.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the main duties of this role will include:
- Implementing the detailed planning
- Checking, confirming availability of product and confirm the sales orders in the computer system
- Organizing and coordinating activities to insure availability of the right product on time and sufficient supply in regards the demand
- Accomplishing close cooperation between the Commercial, Logistics, Procurement and Production Departments
- Participating actively in the daily planning of the sales, depending on the received orders, the warehouse inventory and the production capacities.
- Participating actively in the elaboration of the weekly loading schedule and its daily update.
- On the basis of the planned demand, preparing the purchase requirements for the period forward, in alignment with the delivery leadtime.
- Organize the activities of stock management, production, transport at sub-contractors.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- University degree.
- 3 years of experience in production planning in an international environment.
- English written and spoken (B2).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the many disciplines in the organization.
- Ability to work in a SMART fashion to deliver quick and effective decision making.
- A good working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
