Working on the HECR Application within an agile project team, you will participate in delivering software projects.
The key objectives of the role are to contribute in testing an application which involves a certain degree of complexity, a lot of parametrization, and as a result a lot of unique scenarios that can de facto be covered only by manual testing. Critical and methodical approach and good abstract thinking skills are essential. "White-box" testing applies completely to the HECR way of testing.
The role includes a cross-border collaboration with team members and project management in Zurich, which creates an excellent networking and experience-sharing opportunities.
Working within a team of four testers. As it’s an Agile project, the proportion of duties varies depending on the stories in a sprint.
- Experience with testing in an agile methodology
- Sound experience in operational know-how of Test Processes, including test preparation/execution planning, test case creation/execution and reporting
- Basic knowledge about SpecFlow and NUnit
- At least 6 months practical experience with Tests Automation
- Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
- Good experience with SQL (Oracle/MSSQL), able to write multi-join queries
- Practical experience in Continuous Integration
- Experience of using JIRA or Quality Centre (or equivalent tools)
- Stress / performance testing know-how
- Financial industry knowledge
- Testing qualification such as ISTQB, ISEB etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Hands on analytical and problem solving skills
