On this position you will work in a global team and act as the subject matter expert for your domain. The role activities include the following:
- Transferring business requirements into technical solutions. Deliveries will include solution design documents as well as software packages and configuration scripts for automated installations. New solutions must be sustainable within the appropriate service structures, SLAs, and training requirements.
- Consulting other IT functions in order to help them use the services provided by the team.
- Providing 3rd level support, performing problem analysis and resolution.
- Process design and implementation.
- Occasionally travel abroad to other Client locations for training, workshops, etc.
- A solid understanding of information security in general
- Good knowledge of PKI, authentication, and encryption technologies - particularly S/MIME, PGP, and TLS/SSL
- A solid understanding of Java-based Application and Web Servers (e.g., Tomcat)
- Experience with Internet facing Web applications
- Programming skills for Linux/Solaris and Windows platforms: shell, Perl, and PowerShell scripting
- Strong knowledge of email servers, particularly Microsoft Exchange
- An understanding of centrally managed enterprise wide systems
- An in-depth understanding of Active Directory and LDAP Directory Services
- Source Code Control and change management
- Analytical skills for problem investigation
- Ability to creatively use technical skills to propose and evaluate solution options
- Strong communications skills are essential in English (optional German) in order to liaise with stakeholders and team members.
- Secure Mail gateway software (e.g., Totemo's totemomail, EchoWorx Encrypted Mail Gateway, Ciphermail, Sophos SafeGuard MailGateway) configuration and management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft cloud services - particularly Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Office365 Message Encryption (OME)
- Oracle DB management
- Programming skills for Windows platforms, e.g., PowerShell scripting
- Familiar with financial industry and audit requirements with respect to Information Governance
- Microsoft Windows OS knowledge
