SharePoint Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Administration, support and monitoring SharePoint farms
• Providing 2nd line support to SharePoint farms and operating systems
• Update the technical documentation and operating procedures
• Administration of the virtual computing environment
• Responsible for Active Directory accounts and Exchange integration with SharePoint farms
• Planning capacity and availability of farms, tuning and optimization
• Designing and implementing cross systems authentication and authorization solutions
• Responsible for SharePoint farm infrastructure installation, guidelines and best practices
• Patch management of SharePoint farms
• Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures

Requirements:

• Higher education in computer science or related field
• Must hold a Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCSE) or equivalent
• 4 years of IT professional experience of a similar position
• Good command of English (min. B2 level)
• Experience in administration of complex SharePoint farms deployed in distributed environments
• Hands-on experience in administering Microsoft Systems, customizing SharePoint sites, MS SQL databases, virtual infrastructures using VMware
• Expert in optimizing, tuning and planning capacity of SharePoint farms
• Experience in SharePoint patch management
• Hands-on experience in administering virtual infrastructures
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms in distributed enterprise level systems
• Expertise in analysing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with MS SCOM monitoring system
• A proactive attitude, being self-motivated with a strong user orientation, good communication skills
