Key responsibilities:
Provide technical support in projects - remote and on-site.
Manage and prioritize support requests.
Troubleshoot and maintain IPTV and VOD systems.
Support presales processes (demo installations, customizations to individual requirements, support tasks - modifications, tests).
Project implementation (software configuration, troubleshooting, system integration, installation of server applications).
Manage IPTV and VOD systems deployments.
Develop and maintain good relationships with customers by ensuring highest level of customer service.
Provide technical support during trade shows.
Be available for remote on-call shifts.
Take an active role in the business development process.
Required skills:
2-7 years of relevant experience within administration, support, help desk area
Experience in a support or technical consultancy function.
Working knowledge of Linux.
Working knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), networking infrastructure, DHCP, DNS, switching, firewall and routing solutions.
Knowledge of SQL will be an advantage.
Team player. Promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
Dedicated to the success of customers. Takes account of the needs of the customer, how to satisfy them and demonstrates responsiveness and ownership.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem solving. Demonstrates ability to think through situations outside the norm and develop appropriate solutions.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel (infrequent).
System/ Network certificates will be an asset
