For our Client – international company (from investment branch) which decided to create financial headquarters in Cracow, we are currently looking for:
Requirements:
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Finance environment
- Shared Service Centre / Offshoring / Outsourcing experience
- Knowledge of the Krakow market and expectations
- Project Management Qualification
- Accountancy Qualification preferable, not essential
- Project Management within a Finance function, preferably within Financial Services
- Development and Management of Training
- Offshoring / Shared Service Centre experience
- Attention to detail
- Builds good working relationships with team members, comfortable influencing and directing across different roles and cultures
- Works through complexity in a structured manner to achieve desired outcome

Responsibilities:
The Finance Transformation Programme is a multi-year initiative to improve the Finance & Risk processes and reporting outputs within Company globally. The Programme has a remit across the three dimensions of People, Process & Systems and includes a significant offshoring element. The Transition Project has the following remit:
- To define the services to be performed by a Finance Shared Service Centre in Krakow
- To migrate current and new processes from London to Krakow
The project is fully mobilised, with two recently appointed roles of the Finance Transformation Transition Manager who as well as managing BAU Finance Operations in London is accountable for the Transition project and a Head of Finance Poland who is leading the ‘pull’ of services into Krakow.
The Krakow team is partially recruited and services are being transitioned in 7 phases over the next 10-12 months – the first 2 are in-flight.
The role-holder will need to be a strong project manager and have experience of implementing training and process migrations. The role will require the role holder to be joint located between London and Krakow.
- Manage the delivery of the project end-to-end including:
- Maintain the plan
- Drive prioritisation discussions
- Manage issues, risks, assumptions and dependencies
- Develop content for and co-ordinate Transition Steering Group
- Ensure training and implementation of migration including:
- Planning and approach design to on-board new staff including classroom training, 1-1 training, and process documentation
- Manage Infrastructure requirements gathering for offshore delivery setup
- Supervise training and execution environment setup in offshore location
- Assess training needs for all teams and roles being offshored, including general contextual background to Company and its products as well as specific relevant processes
- Identify owners for training development and delivery
- Define measurement approach to assess knowledge transfer
- Develop training plans and co-ordinate logistics
- Project manage delivery of training
- Co-ordinate competency assessments
