An opportunity has now arisen for the above vacancy within East Starch (A Corn Division of ADM) at Supply Chain Department.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the main duties of this role will include:
- Preparing the transport scheduling of products from service providers and insure delivery on time at the customer.
- Participating actively in the planning of orders – loading and transport organization.
- Confirming the transportation planning in the system.
- Adjusting daily the transportation schedule depending on the refused/new orders.
- Substituting other transport schedulers in case of absence.
- Daily monitoring the warehouse availability.
- Monitoring/tracking all orders (received and processing ones).
- Providing all necessary products for re-sale from other plants; fill the orders to be completed and monitors the deliveries.
- Accomplishing close cooperation between the Customer Service, Procurement and Finance Departments and support their respective processes.
- Responsible for the daily contacts with organizations related with the export of products.
- Monitoring and updating daily the performance of the transport schedule and service quality.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- University degree.
- 3 years of experience in production planning in an international environment.
- English written and spoken (B2).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the many disciplines in the organization.
- Ability to work in a SMART fashion to deliver quick and effective decision making.
- A good working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
