Responsibilites

Voice recording engineer s required to contribute to the evolution of financial compliance recording services:

  • Designing, certifying, documenting and delivering Voice Recording infrastructure solutions to a large organisation
  • Supporting operational teams in fault escalation and remediation
  • Requires considerable depth and breadth of technical product knowledge and industry marketplace
  • Collaborating with internal IT departments supporting generic databases, data storage technologies and global regulation
  • Collaborating with vendors to align with their product development roadmaps and strategies
Requirements
  • Degree-level education
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows components equivalent to Microsoft MCSE level (e.g. Active Directory, Windows 2008 & 2012 Server, Exchange, SQL Server) additionally VMWare hosting and My SQL relational database.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking principles (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and UC technologies
  • In depth knowledge of TDM and VOIP protocols (E1/T1, SIP, H323, RTP, SRTP) plus IP Protocols (OSPF, BGP)
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and experience of liaising with IT security also with Risk & Compliance
  • Some understanding of programming concepts and scripting skills for automating administrative tasks
  • Good report-writing and documentation skills, good verbal communication skills in the English language is essential
  • Strong troubleshooting ability with extensive hands-on IT support experience, both back-end and user-facing
  • Experience working in a large organisation with basic understanding of banking industry
  • Experience of ITIL process concepts

You have:

  • Experience of enterprise Voice Recording product solutions, either one or more from Nice Trading Recorder (NTR), Nice Interactions Manager (NIM) and Verba Recording System.
  • Knowledge of interfacing telephony platforms, Skype for Business (formerly Lync), Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Avaya Unified Comunications, BT Integrated Trading System (ITS)
  • Profficient in MS Office applications including Visio
  • Experience within the financial services sector and/or a global organisation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous nature with attention to detail
  • Self-motiviated with ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Collaborative nature; willing to share ideas, debate solutions and achieve consensus
  • Patience, tenacity and a desire to drive the service forward and make a difference
  • Strong time management skills with ability to provide regular status updates and meet firm deadlines
  • Aptitude for techical authoring and organising useful information such as knowledge base articles
  • Willingness to adhere to tightly controlled and sometimes complex processes and procedures
  • Confidence to verbally present complex technologies to both engineering peers and non-technical audiences at the appropriate level with sufficient clarification
  • Effective awareness of global regulatory control policy standards of voice and metadata capture, long term data storage and retention times
We offer

You’ll be working in the End User Service Engineering team located in Wroclaw. The team is located in several locations all over the world with product lab environments installed to the two locations.

Our role is to deliver engineered solutions for global programs through unambiguous documentation describing product architecture, integration resilience and best practice operating models. This is achieved through analysis assessment, certification of product features operation throughout known call scenarios against all telephony interfaces being recorded.

The team's ultimate goal is to be the subject matter experts of Voice Recording services providing a technology strategy with regulatory compliance across all business divisions. The team will collaborate with their counterparts in other internal IT departments plus interaction with business groups, compliance and legal departments.

Also you'll be expected to have a close engagement with product vendors and their suppliers to ensure product knowledge and roadmaps remain current.
