Sales & Marketing General for its Client, who is about to enter Poland with a website for Products and Services that will help consumers to save money by switching to the most adequate providers based on their consumption profile, is currently looking for the Business Development Director who will set up and develop business in Poland.
Reporting to the Regional Group Head, Business Development Director will be responsible for the development as well as the business & operational management of Client’s business model in Poland. During the project phase, he/she will be responsible for the elaboration of the Business Case and the Financial Plan.
In the preliminary phase, Business Development Director will analyze the product and its environment like the products offered by the competition, provide feedback on products, industry trends and customer insights. Later on, BDD will be expected to develop strategic middle and long-term plans, identify and recruit required new capabilities and resources, build and manage key relationships, develop the communication strategy (internal + external). As particular functional teams are spread across Europe, Business Development Director will ensure cohesion between the different teams involved.
We would love to hear from professionals who can demonstrate strong commercial profile with about 10 years’ experience in an international and/or multinational environment. As business in this case is 100% online based, the person we look for has to understand the digital world (someone employed within digital business or multichannel company where internet is a crucial sales channel) As development of relationships with key players in Telco, Energy, Insurance, Banking sectors will be Business Development Director’s main focus, it is crucial so he/she could demonstrate successful track record in business development. Person that we are looking for should have well-developed project management skills, experience in managing complex projects, ability to demonstrate high level of expertise in consumer research, business and marketing analytics & data management in an online environment. BDD should demonstrate sound business judgment and strategic skills, ability to work in a matrix & international organization: managing and balancing expectations between local and global partners.
