Category Manager

• Responsible for Sourcing and Category Management, Contract Management and Procurement Automation for several contracts covering direct and indirect spend


• Category Management:

- Management for several Material Framework Agreements, covering commercial evaluation, negotiating terms and conditions & pricing
- Ensure adherence to Procurement Standard through effective Supplier Relationship Management and Business Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and Drive Supplier Relationship Management Frameworks. Conduct Vendor evaluation and prepare vendor performance scorecards. Conducting Supplier Quality Meetings for better alignment between Business and Suppliers
- Lead automation drive and spend analysis to explore consolidation and cost saving opportunities
- Perform Material Spend mapping and Analysis for onboarding of materials outside contract spend thereby contributing towards Global Automation Transformation targets
- Act as a Lead for Sourcing Projects

• Category Intelligence:

- Deliver Market analysis of various categories within oil and gas industry which includes supply, demand and commodity price trends, market dynamics to aid category strategy formulation

• Supplier Intelligence:

- Provide supplier background through statistics such as supplier stability, supplier’s immediate business environment, spend data, contracts

• Spend Analysis

- Analyze spend data to identify potential negotiation opportunities

• Minimum 6 years of experience with:

- Project Procurement
- Category Management
- Contract Management
- Global Sourcing
- Supplier Relationship Management

• Good command of English


• Working experience with SAP, Ariba sourcing and e-procurement tools


• Experience in BPO environment will be an asset


• University or college degree, technical background or experience within Oil & Gas industry will be an asset


• Good decision-making skills


• Good computer literacy, easily learns new applications
