Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Objectives
• Responsible for all radio business, covering the PCR, AAD, TETRA, ASTRO, LTE and VERTEX portfolio in all Government verticals and channels in Poland
• Development, coaching and control of regional/ country Channel Account Sales Managers (CAM) and Key Account Managers (KAM)
• Development and implementation of Sales and Marketing strategies for the Motorola Solution business in Poland as well as related action plans within the Polish Channel Partner Network
• Team building, coordination, leadership and responsibility for all Motorola Solutions business related activities in Poland
• Development of strategic alliances with other third party organizations and companies.Main responsibilities
• Operational and Management responsibility for order entry (ORDERS/Releases) and turnover (SALES/Billings) for Motorola Solution business in Poland which reflects a business volume of > 25MUS$
• Process, opportunity management, sales funnel movement, business cases development, project proposals, project support, order intake/closing, especially in multi-level account networking, identifying project opportunities, customer need assessments, channel communications and quotations. Close coordination with Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Teams.
• Review selection of Channel Partners in cooperation with responsible Channel Account Manager on a permanent base, especially in market segments government/public safety, oil & gas industry and transportation
• Develop, where required, strategic alliances with other third party organizations and companies in order to allow Motorola to serve their customers with complete communications solutions;
• Coordination of Key Account and Radio Channel business activities in close cooperation with the regional Channel Account Manager (CAM) , Key Account Managers (KAM), Service Support Managers (CSM)
• Personal support for customer visits and Motorola events in order to grow the awareness of Motorola EMS capabilities in the market;
• Qualified Management tools like: Forecasting, reporting, hotlines, movement of distributors stock levels, credit lines, ASP etc.
• Cooperation and exchange of experiences and information with all relevant departments.
• Full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; strong ability to energize and lead othersScope of Co-operation with company internal resp. external Contacts
• External: Intensive international contacts with all decision-makers within our Indirect sales channels (owners of the companies) in ministries, with Key-Accounts on multiple levels, consultants, and user groups;
• External: Intensive international contacts with the respective committees, commissions, associations and spokesmen;
• Internal: Intensive international contacts with all relevant departments, especially regional DOS, Motorola offices in the region, product groups, marketing, system engineering, project management, finance and controlling, quality and contracts in Motorola Solutions EA and respective departments in Motorola's worldwide organization;
• Internal: Intensive contacts with Motorola Solutions sales colleagues in EA, with corporate country and business development managers, European and US HeadquartersCompetencies
• Strategies for our whole Motorola Solutions business in Poland, action plans, implementation including all cost related decisions within scope of direct guidelines;
• Responsible for representing "the face of Motorola" to all customers in Poland
• Responsible for Conditions for quotations and orders within the scope of the directed guidelines;
• Also Responsible for the yearly planning/LRP process for the whole business in Poland
• Budget responsibility for the defined Sales regions

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• At least 10 years of experience within IT/Radio industry in Poland, of which at least 5 years in a Sales Management position
• Senior personality regarding highest level relations to Owners of our channel partners, governmental and industrial leaders;
• Distinctive interest in and understanding of radio communications technologies and total customer solutions;
• Detailed knowledge of Motorola Solution Product Portfolio;
• High rate of sensitivity of the mentality, business culture and practices in the countries;
• Distinctively analytical, structural and strategic way of thinking;
• Independent work planning;
• Goal and result oriented way of working combined with team spirit;
• Distinctive skills in negotiations and in closing deals;
• Decent appearances, highly convincing presentation and argumentation;
• Willingness to regular business trips,
• Good knowledge of the English language in speaking and writing at business negotiations level;
• Ability to initiate and build solid working relationships with diverse customer decision makers and influencers and to be self-motivated, and operate with minimal supervision are critical for success.
• Creates and uses sales tools; excellent communications a must; strong business/marketing, financial, and computer skills required.
