Job Description
Oracle WebLogic Administrator provides complex (2nd and 3rdlevel) services on middleware layer for one government customer from EU.
Typical activities:
• Projects – proposing, designing and building new production/conformance/testenvironments for our customer; communication and cooperation with other teams(other vendors and customer) from various locations
• Incident management – troubleshooting of technicalincidents
• Problem management – analysis of repeating incidents,preparation of root cause analysis
• Change management – implementation of changes(configuration, deployment, installation, patches, fixpacks)
• Capacity management – sizing and capacity planning
• At least 3 years of experience in IT industry
• At least 2 years of experience in Oracle Weblogicadministration or support
• Familiarity with the following operating systems: OracleSolaris or RHEL
• Familiarity with networking and relatedtechnologies/protocols/services: clustering, loadbalancing, routing, failover,high availability, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, PKI
• English: Intermediate
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with other middleware technologies, especiallywith messaging and EAI middleware (IBM WebSphere MQ, JMS infrastructure)
• Programming skills (shell scripting, AWK, WLST)
• ITIL certification
