About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in SSIS and Pentaho to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you’ll be responsible for crafting, testing, and maintaining robust data flows and ingestion processes.
- ETL Process Design: Create efficient ETL processes using SSIS and Pentaho.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deeply understand data requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Database Design and Implementation: Shape database schemas, data structures, and processing systems for optimal performance.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune system performance to ensure seamless data handling.
- Data Accuracy: Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, maintaining impeccable data accuracy.
- Hadoop Expertise: Build robust data pipelines on the Hadoop stack.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SSIS, Pentaho, and other ETL tools.
- Strong SQL skills, both in relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
- Bonus points for knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics APIs and the Hadoop stack (Hive, Spark).
