On behalf of our Client, a British recruitment company currently launching a new SSC in Warsaw, we are urgently looking for a person to hold the position of Payroll Process Lead with English.
Payroll Process Lead will be accountable for managing the Payroll services delivered to the business. Main responsibilities on this position will include acting as a subject matter expert in process domain, leading, motivating and developing process team to ensure staff performance, ensuring all processing is completed to deadlines, and is compliant with company policies, procedures and audit/legal requirements (UK GAAP). Payroll Process Lead will be reporting to Finance Sector Lead, and will support him in identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvements in processes, systems and procedures, as well as in setting process team targets.
We are looking for a person who has a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operations or Accounting (Master’s degree would be an asset), and minimum five years of experience in Change and Innovation or Process Management, gained preferably in SSC/BPO environment. Payroll Process Team will be conducting work in compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of United Kingdom, therefore familiarity with UK GAAP is mandatory, as well as proficiency in business English (at least C1). Knowledge of MS Office tools, especially MS Excel, and previous experience with ERP software is desirable. Familiarity with Google Docs would be an asset.
