Senior Support consultant

Responsibilites
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of the solutions delivered by implementation team.
- Close cooperation with development and production support team on issue resolution.
- Development of the extensions to the existing data load and analysis processes.
- Opportunity to contribute to creation of technical standards and procedures
Requirements
As a Solution Support Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux systems on Developer or Power user level
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash/Ksh, Perl)
- Ability to automate tasks on Unix level
- Ability to troubleshoot issues on Unix level
- Practical experience with SQL and relational database management systems (Oracle preferable)
- Experience in maintenance of batch loading processes based on flat files or queues is a plus
- BCM Control-M 7 (eg. Enterprise Manager) background is a plus
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work in shifted working hours for projects delivered in US locations (home office possible in this case)
Desirable:
- Professional background of working on large projects / large and complex systems.
- Working experience with: Jira, SVN, Enterprise architect
- Hands on experience in using Unix/Linux operating systems and practice in bash/perl scripting
- Understanding of financial markets
- Some formal training and/or certifications in developing/architecting solutions on Oracle platform
- Know-how of UML methodology
