The CNS IDT Engagement Desk team is a critical component of Cisco Advanced Services, functioning essentially as CNS" air traffic control for all Advanced Services work involving IDT resources. The Engagement Desk team receives new services work, vets it, and coordinates resource staffing assignments following well-established protocols and using custom-developed tools. This team's attention to detail and tenacity for results is well known, and without it AS delivery within CNS would practically stop, and eliminate a key source of business intelligence data that is used to effectively manage the IDT.
As a member of the Engagement Desk team, you will:
● Review resource requests for accuracy and completeness
● Present requests to Delivery Managers for staffing decisions
● Maintain accurate records of their disposition, supporting back-office operations within a professional services organization
● Create communications across teams, management layers and geographies
● Team building
Minimum Qualifications:
● Strong interpersonal skills
● Strong written communication skills
● Highly-detailed approach to managing and documenting daily workflow
● Ability to work effectively under tight time deadlines
● Maintain clear and accurate status of in-flight activities
● Ability to work in a load-sharing, team atmosphere
● Fluent English
Desired Skills:
● Good command of all Microsoft Office products
● Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes
