The main functions of the role are technical development and support for Access databases and Excel spreadsheets.
Development is primarily in Access/Excel VBA but candidates will be expected to work with some Oracle/SQL Server and Web Service interfaces of data.
This role requires also a constant dialogue with business users, so excellent communication and analytical skills are required. There is a high potential of learning how business processes in domain area are build/organized and gives a great exposure on multiple applications and solutions.

- Understand, interpret and draw conclusions from management and financial data
- Being the main contact person to customers in terms of support of the Project/Program (incl. financial aspects) *Maintain and update project management reporting tools *Support and coordinate project management tasks (Quality Control checks, RAID & RAG Reporting) *Support ad-hoc clean-up and bulk modification requests in SharePoint database *Assure initial quality on received data inputs based on given guidelines *Ensure risks and issues in processes are identified, reported and escalated as required
- Prepare executive status summary and pack
- Support Project Managers at Project, Program and Portfolio project admin tasks and deliverables
- Track Milestones and KPIs
Essential:
- 3 Years experience of advanced VBA programming using Microsoft Access and Excel.
- SQL knowledge
- Full life-cycle tactical system development experience.
- VBA support experience. Ability to quickly identify and remediate VBA in any database or spreadsheet.
- Expert level experience with MS Office (MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint )
- Educated to degree equivalent standard.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Team player fostering a collaborative and cooperative approach to project delivery
Desirable:
- Experience of Banking, Finance or Regulatory environments.
- Computer Science or Software Engineering BSc or higher
Join our Development Center and become a member of our open minded, progressive and professional in Implementation Governance Team. In this role you will be working on projects for one of our world famous banks. The department is located in the office in Zabierzów (Krakow Business Park). The team supports the bank in change Management activities while participating in a globally known project and cooperating with Senior Stakeholders in other locations.
Although the candidate will be operating as part of a team he/she will be client facing and individually responsible for the tasks they are assigned. Successful candidate will require self-motivation, enthusiasm and good communication skills.
