An innovative tech company have traditionally had a large-scale distributed agile development primarily running on the Windows platform. A major refresh of this platform is well underway over the last 18 months including a wholesale migration to AWS, the introduction of continuous deployment and the move to Linux for critical components and suitable applications. The goal of this work is to build a truly world class application and infrastructure platform that enables to meet its ambitious business strategy. Part of this capability undoubtedly includes building/utilising world class tooling for our large Development team, and we are dedicating an internal ‘cluster’ (Ransom) of between 5-6 people to this very work.
